Lesson plans Benita Carlton SPANISH I Week of August 22nd Fall 2016 TEKS *Introduction of myself Monday We will go over Classroom Guidelines. We will discuss the process and how Interactive Notebook will work using Composition books. - I will show students examples - will need to bring a composition book by Wednesday Students will fill out Personal Information sheets to get to know each other. 1C; 2A,B 5B Tuesday Those with compositions books can begin to decorate and be creative with their composition books. At the end of class students will share some questions off personal information sheet. Student will finish putting together their interactive notebooks 1C; 2A,B 5B Wednesday We will discuss the Importance of learning Spanish. Students will do this by creating a colorful graphic in their interactive notebooks including thier 5 reasons. We will discuss importance together at the end of class by sharing aloud. -I will put 5 reasons on the board they may add to notes. We will be looking at maps of Spanish Speaking Countries. 1C; 2A,B 5B Thursday Students will indentify countries on their own map and color when done they will put in their composition books. Students will finish filling out and coloring their maps Student will also put a table of contents in their composition books Friday I will Introduce Spanish Speaking Countries Brochure project that we will begin on Monday. -Students will list their top 3 picks, and I will assign their country. 1C; 2A,B 5B
