NOTICE: U.S. Treasury Officially Launches myRA® (my Retirement Account)
myRA Funding Options Expanded to Include Contributions
from a Personal Checking or Savings Account
On November 4, 2015, The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced the full-scale rollout of myRA, a new
retirement savings account designed for people who don’t have access to a retirement savings plan at work or lack
other options to save.
Starting November 4, 2015, people also have the option of setting up recurring or one-time contributions to their
myRA from a personal account, such as a bank or credit union checking or savings account. Additionally, myRA
account holders now have the option of directing all or part of their federal tax refund to their accounts when they
file their taxes.

When comparing the balances of your shares, certificates, and loans to your records, please remember that the
credit union records only include payroll deductions, deposits, or payments which were received by December
31, 2015.
Your enclosed statement shows taxable income and interest paid on loans for 2015. Form 1099-INT for
interest earned greater than $10 and Form1098 Interest Paid greater than $600 will be mailed in time for you
to receive them by the end of January 2016.

• The majority of respondents said checking accounts with No monthly fee followed by Branch Location were most
important when choosing where to open an account. FIRST PACE Credit Union offers No monthly fee, No minimum
balance and a free debit card. With technology today, branch location does not have to be a factor.
• Mobile Banking is here – Whether you use the APP, TEXT or BROWSER, you now have options to monitor your
accounts from your phone. Use our Mobile Deposit feature to quickly and safely deposit checks to your checking
account.
• Responses to our question “what do you consider first when shopping for an auto loan”, was rate followed by
affordable payment. With our competitive rates and flexible terms you can feel good about financing with FIRST
PACE and enjoy that new vehicle. Remember to get pre-approved so you can drive the day you buy! Refinance your
loan from another lender & save.
• More consideration will be given to offering credit cards as it was 50-50 if members would use one or not. One
clear point was that if we were to offer credit cards a low interest rate is a must!
• Thank you for the positive feedback and comments. We are appreciative that over 88% of respondents are highly
satisfied with us. Remember our success is based upon members who are loyal by using our products and services. If
