*Only up to two events are allowed to enter per player, but no player is
allowed to enter both division A and Division B in this season. Player is
encouraged to enter higher division, but Player in higher rating groups cannot
participate in a lower division.

Cash prizes and Trophies will be given for the following events. Prizes are subject to change depending on sponsorship. All
sponsored items will be given away and every participant will have a chance to receive a prize.
Team entry fee - $45 (a $5 drop-in fee per night/per division/per player ($1.50 is put
towards corresponding division cash prize))

V.T.T.C., the Tournament Committee and BCTTA from responsibility for any loss, damages or injuries,

ELIGIBILITY
− Everyone, any age and ratings, is encouraged to enter.
− The Tournament Committee may estimate the rating of any unrated player at any
time during the tournament and remove that player from any event for which such a
rating would make the player ineligible.
FORMAT
− Double round robin
− Every team member can play on game night (maximum of 3 matches per member).
All 9 matches must be played regardless of result. Every match win counts as 1
point towards the team total points. A team can win up to a maximum of 9 points.
− Single matches to consist of best of five games of 11 points
RULES
− Latest ITTF Laws and Regulations will be in effect.
− All rackets must be one side black and one side red with ITTF approved coverings.
− Tracksuit or any part thereof may not be worn during play except by special permission of the
Referee. Athletic shorts and short sleeved or sleeveless shirt MUST be worn during
match. Colour of playing shirt must not be white.
− The Tournament Committee reserves the right to cancel any event due to insufficient entries.
− Unpaid entries at the time of the Draw will NOT be included in the tournament.
− There should be no postponement of matches except in the case of severe weather and/or
approved by the committee. Written or phoned application for postponements along with the
new match date must be approved by the committee at least 48 hours before the scheduled
match date.
− If a team does not arrive with at least two players ready to play before 8pm this will be
considered a no-show and the match may be claimed as a default win at this point by the
ready to play team.
− In the event of any no show a score of 7-0 or higher will be awarded in favour of the ready to
play team,
− 3rd time no show expulsion from the tournament which include losing deposit (deposit will be
put towards division cash prize).
− Tie-breaks will be decided by score of matches, games, points, only of those players / teams
involved in the tie.
− In the event of a team expulsion from the tournament, all matches involving that player will be
considered void.
− VTTC will announce number of participants and each division cash prize after each game
night.
− Tournament statistician(s) will make up a tournament standing after each round and will submit
results VTTC Rating Officer.
