Please review the checklist below to confirm that you have submitted all the necessary documents to be
considered for this event. Applications cannot be properly reviewed until all documentation is submitted.

Completed screening interview with AACPS Representative

Completed Teacher Diversity Recruitment Weekend Application Form & Essay
(see reverse side)
Completed AACPS online application
(please be sure to include resume and cover letter)
Copy of observation/evaluation from college supervisor or cooperating teacher
(recent or pending college graduates)
Copies of evaluations completed by supervisor from the last two years
(experienced teachers)
Copies of passing test scores for state teacher certification test
(scores should be uploaded into AACPS online application)
Copies of your unofficial transcript (transcript can be uploaded onto your AACPS online application)
Copies of any valid teacher certification currently held in any state
(copy of certificate should be uploaded onto AACPS online application)
Three professional references
(references must be completed on the AACPS Reference Form and should come from the following individuals):
Recent or Pending College Graduates
•Director of Student Teaching at college or university
•Mentor Teacher during student teaching internship
•Administrator at intern site
Experienced Teachers
•Administrator at your most recent school
•Department Chair at your most recent school
•Resource Teacher, Team/Grade Group Leader
•Content/Curriculum Coordinator
