YOU have done it! YOU are the champion of your life. At Outward Bound you sailed, tramped,
scaled rock faces, run, swum, faced your fears, pushed yourself, and found there was more in you. Now
you can be a champion for someone else. Someone who feels unsure of their future, or struggles to
believe in themselves, but has hope that Outward Bound could change their life. Now’s your chance to
help someone experience the magic of Outward Bound.
Sign up to a challenge event. It could be the Stadium Stomp Eden Park, the New Balance Great
Lake Relay, Wellington Round the Bays, the Aoraki Mount Cook Cycle Classic, or the Portage Kayak
Race – we’ve included some ideas to get you started. Or create your own personal challenge
– set a goal to walk a section of the Te Araroa Trail, cycle from the East to West Coast, climb the Sky
Tower, swim every day for 30 days – the opportunities are endless.
Once you’ve chosen your challenge, sign up to fundraise for Outward Bound, set up and
customise your Everyday Hero Fundraising page, share it with family and friends and start
raising money! Your donation will help make Outward Bound a reality for someone just like you.
