Donate a basket or an item/gift card to be included in a basket!
We're looking for volunteers to design and donate a basket or basket items to be sold at
auction at our annual event on Friday, May 13, 2016.
Theme ideas that have been mentioned are - dine
around town, we love pets, spa package, home &
hearth, car care, summer bbq, date night fun,
gardening and more!
Limited only by your imagination.
(Can’t think of a basket – don’t worry,
we’ll be happy to help.)

The Ben Osborn Memorial Fund was created in loving memory of Cpl Benjamin D. Osborn. Ben
was killed during combat operations in Kunar Province, Afghanistan on June 15, 2010 while serving
in the United States Army during Operation Enduring Freedom. The positive impact Ben made in
life will continue on as his legacy through this fund. We simply wish to do our part by giving kids a
little lift in honor of Ben's memory.
We accomplish this through eleven local school districts encompassing 32 schools. Over the
course of the year, Ben’s Fund assists with items such as school supplies, clothing, bedding, eye
and health care, educational tuition, calculators and so much more. For our Christmas initiative we
adopt children, families and charitable organizations with Christmas giving. At the end of the school
year we award two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors from each of the participating schools.
We also donate personal and health care items to eleven local food pantries. In addition, we provide clothing changes, healthy snacks, blankets and head lice kits to nurses at 18 elementary
schools. We offer a literacy program for providing books to kids anytime, all of the time, through
Ben’s Book Stations.
Our annual spring fundraiser, Baskets for Ben, is fast approaching. We are asking for your help to
continue our mission of helping local children with need. Any help offered would be deeply appreciated. We are a charitable 501(c)3 tax exempt organization with no administrative costs. All contributions go directly to those we serve, our children.
