Pizza Sale and Pizza Making Day FAQ`s

Pizza Sale and Pizza Making Day FAQ’s What is this whole pizza deal? We have a semi‐annual pizza sale as a fundraiser for EBSC. Club families take orders from friends, family and neighbors for fresh made pizzas. What types of pizzas are there and how much are they? New this time is a Pepperoni/Sausage combination; in addition Cheese, Pepperoni or Sausage and they are $5.00 per pizza. Fresh made pizza, what brand are they? They are handmade by the club families. We dedicate one full Saturday for making pizzas. We have an assembly line operation. After a family’s shift is complete they can pick up their orders. What is a family’s shift, can you explain this? Yes, each family is required to help on Pizza Making Day. There are 3 shifts starting early Saturday morning and running through late afternoon. The specific shift times will be determined once we know the actual number of pizzas we have to make. What if I can’t attend Pizza Making Day? Each family is responsible for working a shift. If you can’t fulfill your commitment on that Saturday, a list of substitutes will be available. The cost of a high school replacement worker is $50.00. You are responsible for arranging and paying your own replacement worker. Plan ahead if you need a replacement worker. How many pizzas does each family have to sell? It is a graduated scale depending on the number of swimmers in the family, 1 swimmer‐‐60 pizzas 2 swimmers‐‐70 pizzas 3 or more swimmers‐‐80 pizzas I like pizzas, but, I don’t think I can sell enough to reach the minimum. What are my options? • We offer a buyout option for any portion of the pizzas you cannot sell. The cost of the buyout is $3.25 per pizza. • You can donate as many pizzas you want to the Ronald McDonald House. Just include $5.00 per pizza on the summary order form and we will take care of delivering the pizzas to the Ronald McDonald House. When are orders due? Pizza order forms are DUE March 27, 2011. After March 27th, families will be billed at the buyout pricing rate. This is a FIRM deadline as the pizza supplies order is placed on Monday, March 28th in the morning.
