The Local Non-Fiction Book Club with Milton Library Director Will Adamczyk will be held at
2:00pm in the Parlor at Brush Hill. Join Will this afternoon to discuss The Race Underground by
Doug Most. Please remember to bring your book with you, so we can return them to the Library. If
you are unable to attend and have a book, please return it to Lisa before today’s meeting. If you
would like to read June’s selection A City So Grand by Stephen Puleo, please stop by this afternoon
to pick up the book. If you cannot make it to today’s Club meeting and would like a copy, contact

Reiki healing sessions are now available on Tuesdays and Fridays starting at
9:00am in the Purple Room at Blue Hill. Reiki sessions are one hour and cost $60.

The Bank of Canton will hold banking hours today. You will find them in the
Dining Room at Blue Hill from 9:00am to 10:00am and in the Function Room at

The Fuller Van is going to the Wrentham Outlets for a day of shopping on your own. You will
depart Brush Hill at 10:00am and Blue Hill at 10:10am. This is an unescorted trip. If you need

The Fuller Village Caregiver Support Group is sponsoring a presentation on MassHealth
Community Benefits from 1:00 -2:30pm in the Blue Hills Activity Room. Margolis & Bloom
attorney Patricia C. D’Agostino is a Senior Associate at Margolis & Bloom, LLP, practicing in estate
and long-term care planning, MassHealth applications and appeals, planning for children with special
needs, settlement planning, guardianship and conservatorship, and probate administration. Patricia
has developed a specialized practice in the area of advising clients how to supplement the cost of
care at home or in an assisted living facility through the use of a myriad of MassHealth, Veterans,
and low-income programs. She was selected by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and the
Massachusetts Bar Association as an "Up and Coming Lawyer" in 2011. She was honored at
an "Excellence in the Law" ceremony and in a special section of Lawyers Weekly. Patricia received
her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School, where she was a dean’s list student. She
received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Suffolk University, with a major in
political science and a minor in economics. All Fuller Village residents and family members are

Wednesday, May 4th:
The Pool is open for Open Swim from 8:00am – 12:00pm.
Weights on Wednesdays with Kara in the Fitness Center will be held
today. Join her at 8:50am, 9:50am or 10:50am for the “10 Workout”.
This workout will consist of 3 weight bearing exercises done 10 times
each for 10 minutes every Wednesday.
Water Aerobics with Kara will be held at 10:00am in the Pool.
Join Steve O’Donnell, Co-President and Treasurer of the Milton Historical Society for a guided
tour of the Suffolk Resolves House on Canton Ave. Steve will be hosting your visit - he loves to
talk about the house and its contents! The Suffolk Resolves House, headquarters of the Milton
Historical Society, was the home of Daniel Vose, an early entrepreneur and prominent citizen of
Milton. He had varied business interests including a store, tavern, warehouses, mills and ships. The
house was built between 1760 and 1780 in Milton Lower Mills near the Neponset River and was
moved to upper Canton Avenue in 1950 when it was faced with demolition and restored to the way it
would have looked in the late 18th and 19th centuries. The Suffolk Resolves, the precursor of the
Declaration of Independence, was written during 3 meetings in taverns in Stoughton, Canton and
finally at the Vose tavern in Milton. It was from here that Paul Revere carried the Resolves to the
Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. The house is now maintained by the Society as a house
museum showing artifacts and memorabilia pertaining to Milton throughout its history, exhibiting
presently a large display of items relating to the Walter Baker Company. You will depart Brush Hill
at 10:15am and Blue Hill at 10:20am for a 10:30am tour. Call 617-361-7778 to sign up.
Come to Floor Yoga at 11:00am this morning in the Function Room at Brush Hill with Fran.
This class uses postures and stretches in combination with breath to develop flexibility, strength and
relaxation. Physical postures are taught with a focus on alignment which will help improve balance
and stability. This class is open to all levels, but please be aware that the class takes place on a mat
on the floor. The chairs will not be used.

Free Blood Pressure Screening by Partners HealthCare at Home will be held today. You will
find them in the Blue Hill Library from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, and in the Brush Hill Parlor from 1:00

Wednesday, May 4th:
Join Curry College Professor Grant Burrier for Amigos o Enemigos? US-Cuban Relations at
3:00pm in the Function Room at Brush Hill. Over history, our paths converge or diverge, but a
mere 90 miles of separation means we continue to interact. Why has the United States and Cuba
maintained such a tempestuous relationship? We will focus on Cuban Independence,
the Batista Period, and the Revolutionary Period to better comprehend where we have been and
where we are going. After President Obama became the first US president to visit the island in 88
years and the primary season develops, we will ponder where our nations our headed and what
factors can improve our relations.

Rosary is held in the Purple Room on the second floor of the Gordon House at 4:00pm this
afternoon. All are welcome.
The Blue Hill Book Club meets at 4:30 pm in the Library at the Gordon House followed by

Come to Bingo Night at Brush Hill! Join your friends for a fantastic fundraiser
to benefit the Fuller Village Resident Association. You will enjoy a full evening of Bingo, Prizes
and lot of laughs!! This event is for everyone, experienced Bingo players and novices alike. Doors
open at 6:00pm and the games will begin at 6:30pm. A packet for eight bingo games will be sold for

Pottery Demonstration and Lecture with Curry College Professor Elizabeth Strasser
at 2:00pm in the Activity Room at Blue Hill. Clay is a wonderfully versatile and responsive
medium. In this session we’ll talk about clay as a material and the many ways it can be worked to
create artistic and functional pottery. You’ll then look at some examples of the ceramic pieces
Professor Strasser makes, and she will speak about her working methods. After this introduction, she
will demonstrate the basics of wheel-throwing by creating several ceramic pieces on a potter’s wheel.
There will be plenty of opportunity for questions. Born in Zurich, Switzerland, Elizabeth Strasser
moved to the U.S. when she was a young child. She received her undergraduate degree from the
University of New Hampshire and her MFA in Painting from the University of Massachusetts in

also runs the ceramics studio. Her paintings, drawings, and ceramics are included in private and
