“ULID”standsfor“UniversityLoginID.”AULIDaccountisgrantedtoallprospectivestudentsand
membersoftheUniversity.IfyouhaveeverbeenamemberofIllinoisStateinthepast‐asa
student,facultymember,staffmember,orasahighschoolstudentatU‐HighinNormal,IL‐you
alreadyhaveaULIDaccountandyoudonotneedtocreateanewone.

“ApplyNow”underFall2015.Youarepresentedwiththestudentapplicationloginpage.Ifyou
alreadyhaveaULIDaccount,youcanloginnow.SinceIdon’thaveaULIDaccountyet,Iwillclick
“CreateAccount.”
First,you’reaskedtoenterandconfirmapersonalemailaddress.Makesureyouenteravalidemail
addressherebecauseaverificationmessagewillbesenttothisaddress.
EnteryourfullLegalname.Thiswouldbethesameasitwouldappearonyourbirthcertificate.If
youprefertogobysomethingotherthanyourlegalname,youcanspecifythatwhenyoufilloutthe
applicationforAdmission.

YourULIDregistrationisnowcomplete!TheconfirmationpageprovidesyouwithyourULID.You
willuseyourULIDandpasswordtologintotheapplicationforadmission.Onceyouareaccepted
toIllinoisState,youwillgainaccesstomanyUniversitysystemsandservices,andyou’lluseyour
ULIDandpasswordtologintothoseaswell.

admission.
