Section 1: Connectivity.
INDIA INX AND INDIA ICC Network has been designed with following broad goals: 1. High availability: The environment is required to run 24X7 with around 22 hours of
trading window.
2. Low latency: Being international exchange, all best practices necessary for providing
lowest possible network latencies are considered.
3. Expandability: Although initial requirement is very low, it has been architecture to
scale up with growth without any re-design.
For Market Participants, following connectivity options are available: 1. Colocation setup
2. GIFT PoP
3. Internet
Detailed description: 1. Colocation setup: a) Provision is made to provide equal opportunity Co-Location services to market
participants.
b) Each participant will get 11 U rack space within INDIA INX COLO @GIFT City.
Upto 3 participants will be accommodated in one physical rack. Each
participant will have separate lock and key arrangement on rack partition door.
c) Each participant server / Switch will be equidistant from INDIA INX gateway
servers using 10Gig Fiber drop. Additionally, provision is made to house Telco
Mux within the Colo. Six nos of Cat6A copper wires will be extended from
participant rack to Telco Mux.
d) Additional copper / Fiber wiring will be provided as needed and will be charged
as per actuals. Participants availing their private lines through operators to
their respective sub-rack will be provided cross patching services.
e) For quick start, we have also made provision of Internet based VPN router at
INDIA INX end. Members who wish to avail VPN would require Cisco router
with IPSEC licence, Static IPV4 public IP at their respective offices to use this
VPN.
2. GIFT PoP – Participant office within GIFT area will get option of connecting to INDIA
INX AND INDIA ICC servers through this setup. Participant will have option to choose
Ethernet drop of 10Mbps, 45Mbps and 100Mbps connectivity.
3. Internet: - Non-trading Internet based services published by INDIA INX and INDIA ICC
will be available. These will be similar in nature as provided by BSE currently.

Generic terms and conditions for connectivity provisioning: 1. Connectivity provisioning at Market Participant’s (MP) office is done based on MP’s
requirements. Connectivity is provisioned on MP’s name. Individual franchise names
are not eligible to apply. The application form and its related undertaking are to be
electronically filed using URL - https://iiefs.indiainx.com/
2. An office is considered market participant office if it’s owned / rented / leased /
licenced to the participant. Participant should be able to furnish requisite proof as and
when requested by INDIA INX AND INDIA ICC.
3. Staff operating on trading terminals should be on participant’s payroll.
4. Participant should have effective control over functioning of the office.
5. INDIA INX AND INDIA ICC will issue networking gear to participant’s office at the time
of connectivity provisioning. This networking gear will be property of INDIA INX AND
INDIA ICC and has to be surrendered at the time of connectivity cancellation. This gear
will be in control of INDIA INX AND INDIA ICC and MP is required to ensure that
relevant site requirements are maintained at all the time for gear to function
smoothly.
6. The networking gear will be under comprehensive maintenance with INDIA INX AND
INDIA ICC assigned vendor. Routine faults / replacement will be done at no extra
charge to MP. However, if the gear fails due to negligence on part of MP, INDIA INX
AND INDIA ICC reserves right to recover part or full cost from MP.
7. MP office will be assigned IP subnet. MP can allocate IP address to their terminals from
within this subnet. MP has to segregate their internal network from BSE assigned
subnet by either having additional NIC card on terminals or by having static NAT on
their interfacing private switch.
8. Connectivity charges are bundled for entire service which includes amortised capital
cost component of network gear; link costs towards operator lease; maintenance cost
of the network gear and provision of disaster recovery. Recovery of these charges are
normally yearly in advance. The guiding principle in devising these charges is that the
network will be operated on “Not for Profit” basis. For most of market participants,
recovery is through internal billing.It’s based on advance invoice. In such cases, INDIA
INX AND INDIA ICC reserves right to levy Security Deposit of network gear which would
be deployed at MP office. Upto March 31st, 2017all services are offered free of cost.
Formal announcement of charges for local links within GIFT City and Colo charges will
be announced shortly.
9. Shifting of Leased lines between offices is not permitted. For such cases, MP’s have to
take fresh circuit in new office and surrender existing link.
10. Site requirements: INDIA INX provided network equipment has to be kept in dust free
environment with proper air conditioning and UPS power supply. The output voltages
from UPS should be in range 220 V – 240 V with Neutral to Earth voltages less than 2
volts.
11. Cancellation Charges: - All charges in US Dollar. Applicable taxes extra. For all
connectivity types, lock-in period is of 1 year. Thereafter, proportionate refund from
yearly charges with 1 months’ notice period shall be applicable.

Terms and conditions for Co-locations facilities: 1. If members want to deploy any hardware, software or any other facility not provided
by exchange then they may procure the required facilities on their own and deploy at
their dedicated racks located at INDIA INX colocation Data Centre on such terms and
conditions as agreed between the concerned member and exchange.
2. Members shall procure all the necessary hardware and software required to utilize
the said colocation services provided by INDIA INX.
3. The delivery time by exchange from the date of application by member for the
colocation services is as follows:Racks, Servers with Solarflare cards – 2 Working Days.
4. INDIA INX will not be responsible for any other service taken from any other service
provider.
5. In case member wants to discontinue the availed services, they are required to
intimate exchange by sending an email to their respective Relationship Manager and
Colocation team on [email protected]
6. Members shall communicate about the activation or deactivation of services to INDIA
INX only.
7. The members are required to ensure compliance with requirements of the
laws/regulations/requirements prescribed by SEBI/the Exchange or any other relevant
authority while availing the facility and maintain the integrity of the securities market.
8. INDIA INX reserves the right to render certain members ineligible from further
participation in the INDIA INX, if they engage in activities that are detrimental to the
development of the market.
9. INDIA INX does not solicit any particular vendor and any trading or other risks arising
out of usage of the opted services are sole responsibility of members of the exchange.

10. The members need to login to online facility in IIeFS for the application of the
colocation services provided by exchange. The web link for login into IIefs – Colocation

11. For any clarification on the subject matter of this notice, members are requested to
contact their respective Relationship Manager or Colocation team on

Other connectivity: Internet: INDIA INX AND INDIA ICC also has applications hosted on web. To access these
applications, market participant needs to have their respective internet link and application
passwords. Email ID for application assistance is available on respective services URL’s.
VPN: VPN connectivity is available for market participants who wish to manage their servers
in INDIA INX COLO remotely. For details, Participants may please get in touch with

Datafeed: Data feed customers have separate connectivity form and charging mechanism. Currently,
feed will be provided through BSE under existing Data feed Agreements. For more details
