WALK-IN INTERVIEW FOR PHARMACISTS
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Regional Office, Patna invites application from
qualified Retired Pharmacists for the following post on contractual basis, for the purpose of
providing Health Service facilities to its registered Insured Person (IPs) and their dependents
through different ESIS Dispensaries located at various places of Bihar.

Essential Experience:
1. Preference will be given to retired ESIS/ESIC/Govt.
Servant.
2. 1 Year post qualification working experience as a
Pharmacist in Health Care Institution/ Pharmacy.
1. The recruitment will be on contract basis for a period of Eleven Months, which may be
renewed for similar tenure for a period up to 3 years based on the performance & conduct of
the contractual staff as per the contract policy of ESI subject to age limit. After 3 years, this
contract may be extended further based on performance & age limit. The maximum period of
contract with ESIC would exist only till the continuance of this scheme/ recruitment of
Regular Doctors. No request of regularization, readjustment and re-employment would be
entertained in lieu of the said contract.
2. Non-refundable Application fee is Rs. 100/- for applicants under General/ Category, No fee
for BC/ EBC/ SC/ ST candidates. Application fee is to be submitted in the form of Bank
Draft only. Bank Draft should be drawn on any recognized bank favoring ESI Fund A/C No.
1 and payable at Patna.

3. Candidates have to apply in given proforma only available at website. www.esicbihar.in only.
It is important to note that application in no other format would be considered without any
exemption.
4. Intending Applicant Doctors can apply any time & thereafter can appear for Walk-inInterview with Original & 1 self-Attested copies of All Certificates & Testimonials and
Two recent Passport size Photographs between 12.30 P.M. and 13.30 P.M. on Second
Wednesday of Every Month in the office of State Medical Commissioner, ESIC,
Panchdeep Bhawan, J L N Marg, Patna 800001.
5. If second Wednesday of any month happened to be holiday, the Walk-in Interview would
take place in same time slot of next working day.
