Go Math Textbook
Once students have logged in following the directions above, on the top right side of the screen you should see a resources bar.
The math textbook usually shows up in the box upon login, if not, the book can be selected from the drop down menu.
Select “Student Edition” to access the actual student pages. Once the textbook is
selected, you have several options. To get help on a particular page or skill look for
the “Personal Math Trainer” icon on any page of the book. You can get to the page
number you would like to see quickly by entering the page number in this box on the
top right section of your screen.
When students are on the page on which you need
help and you have located the Personal Math
Trainer icon click on that
icon.
Once the Personal Math Trainer opens, you have several options for support. Sample problems from
that section will be displayed and students have the options of a “Video Tutor”, “Step-by-Step”
example, to “View Example” or to print the question. Video Tutor has a person demonstrating and
talking through solving a problem. Step-by-Step will allow students to attempt the problem broken
down to smaller steps. View Example will allow students to see an example solved. Textbook takes
students back to their book page. Print allows students to print the problem being viewed on the
screen.
Most sections have several problems that address each of the topics from that section of the textbook (3-15 problems). Students
also have the “try another” option after the solution to a problem is viewed.
Other resources are available for this textbook by looking at the Student Resources

supports available here are actual textbook pages (without live links to the Math
Personal Trainer), Math on the Spot Videos, Real World Math Videos, Spanish
Resources, Glossary, Index, References and Math Standards.
