Trademark and Service Mark Policy
FBLA-PBL has a number of trademarks and service marks registered with the United States Patent and
Trademark Office. The official emblem and insignia item designs are described and protected from
infringement by registration in the U.S. Patent Office under the Trademark Act of 1946. The manufacture,
reproduction, wearing, or display of the emblem shall be governed by the board of directors. These marks
are protected, and their use is restricted as follows:
Commercial vendors are not permitted to use FBLA-PBL trademarks, service marks, or trade names on any
merchandise offered for sale or otherwise, unless the vendor has been specifically granted a license by the
FBLA-PBL National Center.

To maintain a strong national identity for FBLA-PBL,
graphic representation must be consistent at the
local, state, and national levels.
The primary logo consists of two parts: the name
itself and a stylized graphic element referred to as
the “flag.” Do not add other type or graphic elements
to the logo.
The FBLA-PBL logos should only be reproduced
using original artwork. No other versions or
interpretations of the logo should be used.
Digital files of the logos may be downloaded at
go.fbla.org/logos.
If other file types/sizes are needed, submit request to
[email protected].
Do not attempt to redraw the logo or reset the
type. Only the logo art provided by the FBLA-PBL
National Center should be used.
The FBLA-PBL logo must always appear clearly
and legibly on backgrounds. To help ensure
this, the logo should appear on white and light
backgrounds when possible.
When printed on dark or black backgrounds, logo
should be a single-color white print.
The logo may also appear on other colored
backgrounds not specified in these standards as
long as sufficient contrast is provided.
No part of the logo should ever be incorporated into
the logo of another organization.
Do
• Use the FBLA-PBL logo to promote your chapter
• Reproduce the logo using the official colors
• Leave sufficient white space around the logo to
ensure clarity
Do Not
• Modify the logo in any way such as altering the
colors or typeface
• Reproduce in color on a dark background
• Stretch or distort the logo
• Rotate the logo
• Place elements on top of the logo
• Remove or add graphic elements to the logos
Official Colors
The logos containing the FBLA-PBL flag may be
printed in two-color red and blue. If a single color
is necessary, the logo may be printed in black or
white. If printed on FBLA-PBL Blue or Crest Blue
background, logo may be printed in single-color
Crest Gold.
The crest logos may be reproduced in two-color blue
and gold. If a single color is necessary, the crest may
be printed in black or white.
Do not alter the colors of elements in the logos.

To maintain the integrity of the FBLA-PBL logos,
please do not reproduce smaller than 1” wide.
Promotional Items
FBLA-PBL MarketPlace is the only authorized
manufacturer licensed to use the logo in emblematic
products for sale. Developing any products for sale
with the logo by companies other than FBLA-PBL
MarketPlace is a violation of FBLA-PBL’s copyrights
and trademarks.
Local and state chapters may use the national logos
to produce items, provided the items are not sold for
profit.
