Similar to
the rest of the body, the brain needs exercise and maintenance in order
to optimize and protect its current and future health. Through mental
exercise, you can stimulate and enhance brain cell connections and even
delay the onset of Alzheimer's disease. This lesson includes activities
that Homemakers can engage in to promote brain health. Please invite
anyone you think might be interested in the topic. Everyone is welcome
to attend. This class will be taught by Denise Wooley on Nov. 21 at 10:00
AM at the Hickman County Extension Office and Nov. 22 at 1:30 PM at
the Carlisle County Extension Office. Lesson Leaders and all Community
Members are invited to attend. Please call your Extension Office to reserve your seat!!!

Another Taste of Hickman County Cookbook
Our new cookbook features highlights from the Hickman County Quilt Trail. We
had a wonderful volunteer photographer who spent hours taking pictures and
editing the photographs out of her love for this area. Joni Adams Yates, we appreciate you and your husband more than we can say. If you ever want to be
inspired by nature look her up on Facebook...you will be taken with her eye for
beauty in the landscape. Price $15.00 Available at the Hickman County Extension Office. More information on the Quilt Trail at
