Teacher(s) : Bourgine Benoît ; Language : Français Place of the course Louvain-la-Neuve Main themes : To meet these objectives, the course consists in: - presenting a historical and doctrinal synthesis of the question of one God in three persons; - introducing the student to present-day problems, situating them in their contemporary context; - initiating the student to theological work; this part of the course includes an introduction to the elaboration of an issue and a practical initiation to bibliographical tools with the student asked to write a paper with a view to making practical use of what he/ she has learned in this initiation. Aims : By the end of this course, the student should be able: - to describe the stages development of the Trinitarian dogma; - to understand the theological problems tied to the confession of one God in three persons; - to indicate in which terms the question of God poses itself to present-day mentality; - to deal with a particular question in this field using an adequate bibliography.
