Drawing Views of Rotated Objects
Get Started:
When an object is rotated horizontally, the axis of rotation is vertical.
The object may be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise.
When an object is rotated vertically, the axis of rotation is horizontal.
The object may be rotated toward you or away from you.

Investigate
You will need 6 linking cubes.
Use the linking cubes to build an object. Draw the front, top and side
views of the object.
Predict each view when the object is rotated...
• horizontally 90 degrees clockwise
• horizontally 90 degrees counterclockwise
• horizontally 270 degrees clockwise.
