The visit to the city is a tour to historic , commercial and residential
areas of the city , this is a sightseeing tour which divide the city
in three zones each one with its high points of interest . The first icon is the historic residential quarter, where they emphasize
the
neighborhood “Republic”,
upscale
neighborhood
or
accommodated in the first half of the twentieth century, luxuriou
mansions still remain , vestiges of that time. Well known in this
neighborhood is the Equestrian Club of Santiago, to this day receives
distinguished visitors and every week thousands of fans of horse races.
Then begins a visit to the city’s civic center, which highlights the
Government Palace “La Moneda”, the Main Square, the Cathedral, Main
Post Office, City Hall and commercial buildings. Later, the tour will
include the scenic drive through the Forestal Park , the slopes of San
Cristobal Hill and the bohemian Bellavista neighborhood.
The tour ends by visiting the modern residential and commercial area
known as the Barrio Alto (UpTown), this sector covers to the slopes of
the Andes Mountain, new neighborhoods include, The Dehesa, Santa
Maria de Manquehue, Las Condes and Vitacura mixed with sections of
advanced architecture as the Barrio El Golf, North Forest , among
others. Inside this area are three large shopping malls, Alto Las Condes, Parque Arauco and Apumanque. Return to hotel.
As an additional service we could end the tour at the Shopping Mall
with no extra cost, and where the passengers will have free time to buy some souvenirs.
In this case the return to the hotel will be for the passenger’s account .
