Adverbs Modifying Adiectives and Adverbs
An adverb can also modify an adjective or another adverb. An adverb that
modifies an adjective or another adverb tells /row, when, or where about the word
it modifies. An adverb that modifies an adiective or another adverb almost always
appears immediately before the word it modifies.
Kai is an unusually good skater. (The adverb unusual/ytells howabout the
