Have you ever wanted to create a painting with colored wax? We will explore hand-softened wax and candle
making materials to create beautiful translucent paintings on canvas. Advanced students will use pot-melted
wax and brushes as well as hand-softened colored wax.

Students will learn how to create platters, mugs and more using a variety of hand building techniques. Due to
the drying time involved, students will have 3 days to create their pieces and two days to glaze.
