Ram Camp provides opportunities to strengthen math and reading skills for those students that need extra assistance. The elementary had a very successful March reading month. Ronald McDonald gave the students a wonderful assembly. The McEducator’s night at the Hillsdale McDonalds generated close to $400. The theme “Growing Great Readers” allowed the students to prompt their interest in reading. In the middle and high school we recognized 15 students for student of the month for their efforts in the classroom. Congratulations to Stone Arnold for setting a couple of school records—career points: 1280 and season points: 399 and for making All State Honorable Mention. Gracias, Sra Whitacre COUNSELOR’S CORNER As we approach the end of our 3rd marking period, it is important to continue to encourage our kids to stay strong and on task. I know this can be difficult with spring break right around the corner. We thank you parents for your continued support in helping us give our best to your kids. Testing is just around the corner as you all know, when we come back from Spring Break testing will be upon us. Please make sure your child (ren) are getting plenty of sleep and eating properly. Also, encourage them to not overwhelm themselves with testing. Just focus on one question at a time and do their best. We are all here to support and help them as they transition into the testing cycle. Seniors, remember after Spring Break you will be starting your English project. Please take the time during break to get your senior scrapbook album. If you need help with an album, please see Mrs. Hall.
