Dear Parents,
We are all looking forward to the Panaga Football Tournament this Sunday. Please ensure that you and
your children apply sun cream throughout the day and that we all keep hydrated.
We have witnessed a few examples lately of children using non-conventional cycle routes on their way
home from school, e.g. riding on the grass verge. Periodically, it is a good idea for you to check the route
your children take. Please ensure they only use designated cycle paths and road crossings for their
journeys both to and from school.

Panaga Football Tournament
Good luck to all students involved in this weekend’s Panaga Football Tournament. All students should
meet at the Padang and line up in their teams at 7.30am. All coaches and referees should also arrive
at this time, so that we can ensure a prompt start of matches at 8am. Thanks in advance to all parents
and staff that will assist on Sunday.
A reminder that all kit lent out for the football tournament should be returned in a name-labelled plastic bag
to Mr Nathan in the Teraja PE office. It would be appreciated if the kit could be returned next week so that it
can then be ready for use at the next sports event.
T-shirts
A reminder that the school T-shirts (with a cartoon character design) are still for sale. If you are interested in
purchasing one, please contact: [email protected]. An upfront payment is required.
Congratulations to Miss Steph and our whole school community who have raised over 3400BND from the
T-shirt sales, which will go towards funding future school projects.

PTA Science Fair - volunteers needed, urgently!
Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help with the Science Fair. We have approximately 30 people
who have indicated an interest so far. We need at least a total of 80 volunteers to make it happen. This
means we are still looking for about 50 more people to help if we want to replicate last year's success.
Please consider being a part of our team (again) this year. The role you will play need not be a huge time
commitment.

P5 Production
The P5 production of Wilbur took place in the Teraja Hall last Wednesday. Congratulations to all of the P5
students for putting on such an amazing performance! There were some exceptional acting talents on
display. Well done to all of the P5 team for supporting this excellent production. Thanks to all of the parents
who came along and supported the event.
International Day 2017
On Thursday 9th March, we will be holding International Day for the P1 to P8 children and families, on the
Teraja site. We will also be hosting an event for our Pre-Nursery and Nursery classes on Friday 10th March.
This colourful and exciting occasion has always provided an alternative dimension to helping our children
understand and learn about the different communities and cultures that we as a school share.

displayed in the foyers of each site.
We are still short of volunteers from a few major countries to sign up. Can you please ensure that
your country is represented.

and cycling safely on the cycle paths. Well done for being safe!

a safe act either at school or in the community.
This could be wearing a helmet, seatbelt, crossing
the road safely or parking in designated places.
