Service was requested at 1119 9th Ave in reference to a stolen bicycle. I met with Frank
Hernandez at the residence. Hernandez reported he had a BMX style bike on the front
porch of his residence. The bike was last seen on the porch at approximately 01:00 on
7/13/14 and the bike was gone by 08:00. Hernandez did not know the make, model, or
serial numbers for the bike. The bike was described as being a newer model orange body
with white cross bar on the handle bars, BMX style. There are no suspects at this time.

On 7/14/14 while on Regular patrol I witnessed Alfredo Gomez driving a green PT Cruiser
in the 800 block of East Overland. I ran him through the Communications Center and found
that he had an Active Scotts Bluff County warrant. Gomez attempted to flee but was
apprehended in the alley between 8th and 9th Avenue in the 1300 block. Investigation led
to him also being cited with driving under suspension.

Service was requested at Safeway in reference to a reported shoplifting. A description
of the suspects and the suspect vehicle were provided. I contacted store employee Jason
Lopez in reference to the incident. Lopez reported the suspect had ran out of the store
carrying at least one bottle of vodka. The suspect was later identified as Elizabeth
Janis and was issued a citation for shoplifting. The vodka is valued at $18.49. See supplement for details.

On 07/15/14 I responded to 7th Ave and East 17th Street in reference to an injury
accident. Upon arrival I observed one vehicle flipped upside down and another vehicle
with front end damage. I spoke with a witness who stated the car traveling south on 7th
Ave was traveling at a high rate of speed and ran the stop sign and struck the vehicle
traveling west on East 17th Street. After further investigation the juvenile driver who
ran the stop sign was issued a citation for zero tolerance, reckless driving and stop

using her business ATM card for unauthorized purchases. Sally provided bank statements

I was eastbound in the 300 block of W 14th street, where Anselmo flagged me over
reference his bike missing. Anselmo said he parked his bike in the 1400 block of Avenue B
while he went in the gym. Anselmo said the bike wasn't locked up and when he came out it
was missing. Anselmo said the bike is a mountain bike frame and black in color. Anselmo
said the left hand grip is missing. Anselmo said the rear tire is a different brand then
than the front tire. Anselmo said he couldn't provide any additional information on the
bike. I patrolled the area and could not locate the bike in the area and documented
incident with report.

Jason said his Buick bearing 21 S 67 was not vandalized last night 7/21/14 at 5:30pm when
it was parked. Jason said he never noticed the damage until this night at which time he
called the police. Jason showed me several small holes on the car's bra just below a
scratch on the hood of the car. Jason showed me a scratch on the clear coat just behind
the front passenger tire, too. Jason showed me two scratches on the passenger door, which
were in the clear coat. I took photos of the damage for evidence and could not locate
any evidence in the area. Jason said he was going to have the car checked for cut hoses

Officers stopped two vehicles reference a disturbance at Maverick's gas station. The
driver of 21-F422 was identified verbally s Todd Rood with a suspended license. An
opened beer can was observed in the vehicle. A Driving Under the Influence investigation
was conducted which showed impairment from alcohol. Todd was then arrested for Driving
Under the Influence, Driving Under Suspension and Open Container. Todd was then
transported to the Scottsbluff County jail.

building and the people in the next room over turned on the light and scared whoever was
out there away. Cindy said that when she finally went outside to check the building she
noticed that someone had cut the screen and pulled it out as if they were attempting to

I clocked a vehicle speeding 40 mph in a 30 mph zone north bound on Broadway at 26TH
Street. I pulled in behind the vehicle and turned on my red lights. The vehicle stopped
in the parking lot of FTC Express at 121 West 27TH Street. The driver was identified as
Nichelle R. Sands with a Nebraksa license. I checked for license status and was told the
Nichelle was suspended as of 08/13/2014 for insurance cancelation. There are five prior
convictions for driving under suspension. I arrested Nichelle and took her to jail.

On August 17th, I was dispatched to the Super 8 Motel in reference to an active warrant.
Upon arrival I made contact with the reporting party , which was the desk clerk at the
Super 8. She advised that Leonires Perez, Jr is staying here and is in room 123. I made
contact with Perez, Jr and confirmed the warrant with the Communication Center. Perez, Jr
was arrested under warrant number 361971. Perez, Jr was transported over to Scotts Bluff
County Detention Center and released to their staff without incident.

On 08/17/14 at approximately 2:18 a.m., I observed vehicle (NE plate #21-13107) pull into
the Super 8 Motel parking lot (2202 Delta Dr.) and travel to the far Southeast corner of
the parking lot. Once the vehicle stopped the driver exited the vehicle and as he did, I
observed an open 12 oz. Budweiser can fall to the ground spilling liquid. After
investigation Skyler Sullivan was arrested and Jason Monski / Leah Newman were cited. See supplement.
