In the diagram below, areas in red will be cut away from green sections of the cattle panel with bolt cutters or torch. The bottom sections left can then be used to make cage anchors. To further strengthen cage and protect interior grass, weave 1 of 3 remaining long rods through each corner edge of the pyramid in an over-under fashion. Easy anchor, easy move next year! Anchor the cage down by firmly “stepping in” or pounding in the 9 cage anchors along each section of the cage (total of 3/side) that were made from the bottom section of the cattle panel.
