WALK IN INTERVIEW
Defence Institute of Bio-Energy Research (DIBER) under the aegis of DRDO is engaged in Research &
Development in the area of bioresource utilization for bioenergy, herbal product development and application of
genetic engineering for crop improvement. DIBER provides excellent opportunity to young and motivated
researchers to pursue career in basic and applied field of Life Science research with state of art research facilities
for undertaking research in challenging areas.
Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates with CSIR/UGC/CMR/DBT/DST fellowships for
the post of Junior Research Fellows to work in ongoing and future research projects at DIBER.
Minimum qualifications:
First class M.Sc degree in
Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Microbiology.
CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT/DST qualified candidate only with fellowship validity upto July 2015 should apply.
Ph.D Programme: Selected candidates may be registered for Ph.D programme.
AGE: For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) maximum 28 years, as on the last date for receipt of application
(Relaxable for 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC as per Govt. rules).
Application procedure:
Eligible candidates should send their duly complete application form on or before 07.10.2014 till 1700
hours through post addressed to Director, DIBER, Goraparao, P.O. Arjunpur, Haldwani, Distt Nainital-263139.
Eligible candidates can appear for a Walk-in-interview at 1000 hrs on 31.10.2014 at DIBER, Haldwani (Nainital).
Candidates will be required to produce certificates/testimonials in original at the time of interview
otherwise they would not be allowed to appear for interview.
Admission shall not be claimed by any candidate as a matter of right. The admission shall be
entirely at the discretion of the Selection Commitee of the Institute which may refuse to admit any candidate
without assigning any reason thereof. Number of seats for JRF may increase or decrease without prior notice.
Interested candidates may send their biodata in the enclosed format on or before the last date and must carry the
photocopy of the application on the day of Interview. Incomplete applications will be rejected. It may please be
noted that offer of fellowship does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO. Travelling allowances (TA) and DA
will NOT be admissible for attending the interview.
