Pig trial with BERGAZYM P
X.Conclusions
•
BERGAZYM P improves daily weight gain in the grower period
(21-43 kg) by 10% when added to diets containing high levels of
wheat (55%)
•
BERGAZYM P improves feed conversion during this growing
fattening period by 7,5%
•
Based on the assumption of 1.000 tons grower pig feed 43.826,6 kg
(= 8,2%) live weight can additionally be produced when using
BERGAZYM P during this period. This is an extra profit of € 3,13
(€ 2,34)/grower based on a live weight price of € 2,00 (€1,50) / kg
•
The adding of BERGAZYM P to wheat based growing pig diets
reduces the nitrogen excretion of the animals due to a positive effect
of N-utilization (by 5,0%). Therefore the use of BERGAZYM P
contributes to a reduction of environmental pollution by intensive
livestocking farming.
