ELITE Cardio is more than an aerobic workout; it’s an exciting, high-impact, energetic fitness program. You’ll experience a mix of
aerobics, boxing, and martial arts. You’ll learn safe and effective ways to get into shape, learn self-defense, lower stress levels,
increase physical and mental strength, and get into the best shape of your life. Smith is a certified personal trainer, martial arts
expert, and kickboxing instructor. His ties to Berks County are numerous, conducting kickboxing classes for many years. His calorie
burning program, superior instruction, and complete workout focus is what makes Smith’s fitness program sought after by many.

What is HIAC? The acronym stands for High Intensity Anaerobic Conditioning and to sum it up in three words - demanding, efficient,
rewarding! Forget the days of long-winded, BORING “routines” the end result of which, lets face it, is lackluster. There is nothing
routine about this class! It’s a 1-hour challenge of mind, body, and soul that cumulatively produces a stronger, more athletic, more
confident YOU! This class is designed for men and women who want high intensity and high weights.
• What is anaerobic training? By definition, it means “without oxygen.” To put it simply, it consists of almost max effort work to
max effort work in short bursts (10 secs to 2 mins) followed by a brief rest period then repeated for a set amount of rounds.
• Why anaerobic and not aerobic? Anaerobic is much more efficient (less time in the gym while achieving greater results)
Anaerobic is muscle-sparing and muscle-building (concentrated burning of adipose tissue not muscle tissue while increasing lean
muscle mass) Anaerobic conditioning also increases aerobic conditioning but it does not work the other way around (as your
anaerobic threshold increases, so does aerobic capacity, but aerobic exercise does not increase anaerobic conditioning)
• What types of exercises are used? The list is abundant and diverse! From the traditional to completely “outside the box”:
traditional weight movements, kettlebells, sledge hammers, tractor tires, drive sleds, MMA-inspired techniques (no you won’t
get punched in the face), battling ropes - the list goes on and on and no workout is ever the same!

Elite Power Hour is a whole body circuit style workout designed to burn TONS of calories, strengthen and tone muscles, reduce
stress, lose weight, and increase energy. You will be challenged to push outside your comfort zone to maximize your efforts.
• How It Works - Elite Power Hour can aid in muscle toning, as well as increasing aerobic and cardiovascular capacity, which work
in combination for the ultimate “get fit” environment. This routine includes intervals of high intensity exercises, followed by
recovery intervals of light to moderate intensity exercises in order to reach and sustain target heart rates. Due to the fact that
this training involves pushing yourself to do intense exercise intervals, this workout can provide many advantages that the usual
exercise routines cannot offer including, aerobic, anaerobic, muscular endurance, and fat burning like never before!
• What to Expect- You’ll never really know what to expect when you come to this class, but what you will always get is a great
workout as you move through a series of stations designed to Meet
