This half term we are learning about
number; place value, mental and written
addition and subtraction. We will be
developing our understanding of division
and telling the time.

Pupils will learn about Riddles and create their
own describing a rainforest creature..
We will read and learn poetry about animals in
the rainforest.
We will focus on homophones in our spellings –
words that sound the same but are spelt
different and have different meanings.
We will learn how to include direct speech in
our writing.
