TRICON EXPANDABLE CONTAINER
The Expandable Tricon Container is based upon CMCI’s ISO Tricon (8x6.5x8) platform
and provides more flexibility and capability for the expeditionary War Fighter in a
smaller and more easily deployed unit, fully transportable by sea, air, or land.
During deployment, the Expandable Tricon can be extended to three times the capacity
and floor space, making the system ideal for such applications as kitchens, laundries,
latrines, shower facilities, or testing workshops. Available T2 and T5 variants allow for
expansion along different axis of the container for more flexible solutions. Internal
components such as stoves, showers or workbenches, can be stowed inside the basic Tricon
during transport and can be set up inside the increased area of the container when deployed.
When stowed for transportation, the Expandable Tricon has the same footprint of the
conventional CMCI Tricon and can be configured for shipping with three Tricons being
secured together using SeaLock connectors. The resulting package has the same
footprint as a standard 20’ ISO intermodal container.

• Paint is available in standard Tan, Green or
optional CARC equivalent
