The Vietnam Global Education Fairs (GEF) returns in November with
institutions and government representatives from more than 13 countries
The GEF Vietnam will again take place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city for the third time in November 2016,
after the launch success of GEF fair series in Vietnam in last November with more than 5,400 students

Unlike other fairs in Vietnam, the GEF Vietnam is the only education fair in the country where Vietnamese
students, parents and executives will be able to talk direct to experts and representatives from
international institutions from up to 13 different countries all in one place.
The GEF Vietnam provides a unique and high-quality experience for visitors including daily seminars from
international education associations as well as Alumni talks from local experts on study abroad.
The GEF Vietnam is supported by government agencies and embassies from 7 countries, namely
EducationUSA (under the Embassy of US), Austrade & the Embassy of Australia, Campus France & the
Embassy of France, EduCanada (under Consulate General of Canada), Education in Ireland (under the
Ministry for Education and Skills), Wallonie-Bruxelles International and Education Malaysia (under the
Ministry of Higher Education).
Over the fair days, visitors will be able to meet representatives, teachers and deans from international high
schools, language, undergraduate, postgraduate programmes amongst others. During the GEF Vietnam
fairs, visitors will have the opportunity of asking questions and finding out more information on the
application process, visa requirements, course costs, accommodation options, culture in the destination
country and minimum requirements for course entry.
Alumni Talks from young influencers are very oversubscribed seminars. The Alumni guests’ panel are
different in each city and some of the celebrity speakers are Huynh Hanh Phuc (the Harvard graduate
founding the educational project ‘Teach for Vietnam’), Tran An Huong (the fashion designer and cofounder of the label Rue Des Chats after years of pursuing her study in France), Tran Quang Hung (founder
the co-working space UP) and others still be announced.
Visitors can listen to specialists from government agencies in various seminars, such as the great
advantages of studying in France presented by Campus France, the overview of U.S. higher education and
scholarship opportunities given by EducationUSA, or studying in Australia with Endeavour scholarships by
Austrade and the like.
