Tom Johnson, Tom Link, and Shirley Salas for reappointment
to Visalia Pubtic Cemetery Districts, Board of Trustees
CALL TO ORDER AND
RECORD OF ATTENDANCE

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to
order at 9:05 a.m. by Chair Tom Link. Other Trustees
present were Tom Johnson, George Ouzounian, Geneva
PhifRot and Shirley Salas. Others present were Donald
Williams, CPA/N9lary from Sciacca & Company, Jason
Hutton, General Manager/ Broker, from MiliCreek
Malaqgment, Craig Branco, CB Construction. Cemetery

closed session at 9:0g a.m. for a negotiation conference with
Jason Hutton, General ManagerlBroker with Mill Creek

Street, Visalia, CA. Afterdiscussion, the Board of Trusteei,
regutar meeting reconvened to an open session at g:25 a.m.
resulting in the following action from closed session: A
motion was made by Tom Johnson and seconded by
George Ouzounian to negotiate a month-to-month lease
agreement with a $95,000 sale price for the property located
at 6'18 N. Rinaldi Street, Visalia, CA. All ayes. Motion
carried. Another motion was made by George Ouzounian
and seconded by Geneva philpot to get an appraisal on the
property located at 818 N. RinaldiStreet, Visaiia,
CA. All
ayes. Motion carried.

the Decernber 16, 2016 regular board meeting. All ayes.

conference willbe February 23,24, and 25, 2012 in Oxnard,
CA. Geneva Philpot reported that C.A.p.C. is asking for
suggestions to rename newsletter. A motion was made by
George Ouzounian and seconded by Shirley Salas to submit
to C.A.P.C. "News on the Move" as a suggested name for the
newslefter. Cindy Summers willsubmit name to C.A.p.C.
The date for the next regular board meeting was revisited and
a rnotion was made by Geneva philpot and seconded by
Qeorge Ouzounian to change the date from WeOnesOay
February 22, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. to Tuesdav, February 21,
2017 a|9.00 a.m. Allayes. Motion carried.

Cindy Summers presented a term life insurance proposal for
the four employees currenfly working, Cindy Summers,.
CherylAvila, Ron Greenlee and Maria Resendiz. The monthly
premium for four employees based on $10,000.00 term life
insurance is $27.16. After discussion, a motion was made by
Tom Johnson and seconded by George Ouzounian to
approve the recommendation for g 10,000.00 term life
insurance for the four employees currenily employed at a
monthly premium rate of $27.16. All ayes. Motion carried.
