Facilitated by JFCS with support of the Ricky and Andrew Shechtel Philanthropic Fund and the Jewish Federation of PMB. Consultation to Abrams Hebrew Academy: Provides consultation to parents and teachers on student behavior and provides group services to enhance peer relationships. JFCS clinical services promote psychological and social well-being for individuals and families of all ages. Counseling is available for a wide range of personal problems including depression, stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues; for relationship problems, including marital, divorce, and parent-child conflicts; and for major personal transitions. What we have accomplished this past year: Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County is dedicated to strengthening families and individuals by providing a wide range of social services and programs, including therapy, information and referral, support, education and advocacy. JEWISH FAMILY & CHILDREN’S SERVICE Community-wide case management project for older adults: Provides in-depth assessment, service, and Kosher Café, Kosher Café East and Kosher Meals on Wheels: Provides nutritious meals and reduces isolation through social activities. Gesher LeKesher: Peer education for teenagers, increase leadership skills, increase confidence as a Jewish role model. Jewish Community Youth Foundation (JCYF): Educates teenagers about their responsibilities to know about community and broader needs and how to develop a personal philanthropic approach to address those needs. Facilitated by JFCS with support of the Ricky and Andrew Shechtel Philanthropic Fund and the Jewish Federation of PMB. Consultation to Abrams Hebrew Academy: Provides consultation to parents and teachers on student behavior and provides group services to enhance peer relationships.
