WTEAM is a network of national champions, hall of
fame players, and teaching professionals who make
a difference in the sport of platform tennis every
day. They play, teach, and promote our great game
with equal passion — a passion they share with
everyone they meet.
WTEAM is led by Wilson Advisory Captains Peter
Berka and Gerri Viant. Peter is a top-ranked player
who has introduced platform tennis to countless
new players as the director of racquet sports at
a major Chicago club. Gerri is one of the most
respected people in the game. A 13-time national
champion, she was inducted into the Platform Hall
of Fame in 2006.
Across the country, a staff of WTEAM players
represents Wilson and platform tennis with
professionalism in their individual clubs. They
conduct clinics, develop programs, and teach
lessons. They are the lifeblood of our sport and a
source of great pride at Wilson.
