To find the hole in the graph (x,y): 1) Set the canceled factor equal to zero 2) Solve for x 3) Plug the answer into the SIMPLIFIED EQUATION to get y 4) (x,y) is the Hole 5) Use the SIMPLIFIED EQUATION for the rest of the problem.
