But, thanks to the St Kilda Mums, Mr Ahmed and his wife have everything they need to look after their new baby, Hagagsan. The Ahmeds, from Somalia, have no family in Australia to help care for Hagagsan and his older sister, Hoodo. "She told us if we ever need anything, just ask," Mr Ahmed said. Mr Ahmed said he wanted to thank the St Kilda Mums. "We appreciate what you have done for the people who do not have the opportunity to get what they want ... and appreciate how you have helped us and everybody else," he said. He hoped the Leader campaign would help the group and promised to return Hagagsan's pram when outgrown, so another family could use it.
