Greetings of Excellence in Basic Science Education!
Annually, since its establishment in 2A15, the Philippine Science High Schoo|-CALABARZON Region
Campus (PSHS-CBZRC) has been extending help to the Department of Education (DepEd) by giving
free seminars and training to public school teachers. This community service is called PISAY Teach
which aims to help DepEd teachers become more effective in terms of content and pedagogy,
This year, PISAY Teach is themed Jaurney to the New Warld of 21st Century Education and will be held
on May 4-6,2017 at Batangas Convention Center for the plenary sessions and at PSHS-CBZRC, Bahay
Kaalaman, Rizal Avenue, Batangas City for the parallel sessions. No registration fee will be collected
from the participants, but they will have to shoulder the cost of their own accommodation and
transportation.
The objectives of this training are as follows:
1.
To upgrade teachers' awareness on new trends in teaching;
2.
To acquire new knowledge in their areas of specialization in terms of content and
3.
pedagogy; and,
To build their self-esteem in conceptualizing and contextualizing techniques and methods
of teaching.
Please be informed th:at there will be a screening process to determine the participants which will be
limited to only 30 participants per subject area. The screening will be based on their online registration at
http://tinyurl.comltinyurl-com-PISAYTEACH. The deadline of registration is on April 24,2A17,05:00 P.M.
