As your outfitter, we provide the float plane travel into the lake, the boats, motors, gas, and basic gear like nets and paddles, and a beautifully crafted log cabin. All of our cabins are fully modern with hot and cold running water, indoor showers, solar panels or a generator for lighting, propane fridge and stove, and a gas grill. Each cabin is equipped with a wood-fired heater and a kitchen area stocked with all of your cooking and dining utensils. This beautiful chalet will easily accommodate 6 people. WINGISKUS LAKE Wingiskus Lake is one of those smallmouth bass lakes that make your adventure into the wilds of Canada all that much more rewarding. Wingiskus Lake has 3,600 acres of prime smallmouth bass habitat consisting of clear water, rock shoals, cobblestone points, and weed beds. This is an action packed lake! Accessible from the north end of Wingiskus Lake through a 150-yard portage is Rickaby Lake - another hotbed for smallmouth bass action. This newly renovated cabin is best suited for a group of two to four people. VANANCE LAKE Rolston Lake offers an abundance of walleye and northern pike, with a good size average and some real trophies. Chaval Lake is accessed by a small river, and also boasts an excellent walleye fishery. Vanance Lake is a great walleye and northern pike fishery, and is situated south of Rolston Lake - just a short portage away. 0 Toll Free:1-800-617-1906 0.5 miles 4 MoosehornLake Outpost MOOSEHORN LAKE OUTPOST N50° 13.841’ W94° 38.600’ T he timber frame cabin on Moosehorn Lake is built of select logs harvested from the area. With floor to ceiling windows and an incredible view, this twobedroom cabin is best suited to a group of four but can accommodate up to six people. Moosehorn Lake is a small mouth bass hot spot with many shallow bays and rock reefs. The cool, clear water offers some of the finest bass busting action around. Trout Lake is accessed from Moosehorn Lake through a 250-yard portage where more hungry smallmouth bass lay in wait – or you can try your luck with the lake trout. The portage to Pike Lake is 200 yards long and will lead you to an excellent bass, walleye and northern pike fishery. The lake borders Woodland Caribou Provincial Park where it is not uncommon to spot moose or caribou. There are two modern cabins on Chase Lake to accommodate parties up to 12 people, or to be split between two smaller parties. Chase Lake offers walleye, smallmouth bass, and northern pike fishing on a chain of remote lakes known as the Bird River. Chase Lake connects to Midway and Eagle Lakes via narrow channels, which are navigable by boat, so you can fish a lot of lake with ease. With so many outstanding fishing spots that you could spend an entire summer trying to fish each one of them, there is plenty of action for your favorite fishing lures. A whole new adventure is a short hike away.” 0 1 mile DOWSWELL LAKE OUTPOST N50° 37.622’ W94° 43.982’ W e’re particularly proud of this unique, hand-hewn log cabin on the shores of beautiful Dowswell Lake. It was the first one built in the design that all of our outpost cabins built since then would be modeled after. It is a five-sided structure that was built with pine logs harvested from the nearby woods. The cabin sleeps eight in four bedrooms. SYLVIA LAKE VERONICA LAKE PORTAGE BILKO LAKE PORTAGE Dowswell Lake itself harbors northern pike, lake trout and smallmouth bass. Bilko Lake is connected to Dowswell by a 450-yard hike. Bilko Lake holds lots of walleye and northern pike, as do three other lakes that connect to Dowswell via portage trails of similar length. The main species you’ll want to fish at this outpost is the smallmouth bass. There is plenty of space for you to spread out, relax and plan your fishing strategies. The screened porch and spacious decks will lure you away from a kitchen and living room that would make anyone want to move to the Canadian wilderness. There is room for 8 in 3 bedrooms, each featuring individual thermostats for those cool evenings. 0 1 mile Salvesen Lake is a beautiful lake that lends itself to the fancy of anyone who stays there. Located on the Sturgeon River, which in turn connects to the English River, fishing on Salvesen has been a long time family favorite. The lake is long and narrow with majestic high bluffs, a vibrant rapids, plenty of wildlife, and a healthy fishery. Anglers wishing a variety have walleye, northern pike, and smallmouth bass to choose from. The front walls are filled with windows that offer the stunning views of the forest and lake that all our camps are known for. With three bedrooms, the cabin will accommodate six fishermen in wilderness comfort. Rex Lake lies in a basin of sedimentary rock, which is ideal habitat for crayfish. Where crayfish are abundant, so are smallmouth bass. Don’t be surprised if a yard-long northern pike appears out of nowhere and tries to take your lure for it’s lunch. BABE’S LAKE ARROW LAKE RIGHT LAKE OUTPOST R ight Lake is truly the “right” place to unwind amongst the wilderness. This knotty pine outpost cabin is suited for parties of 4 but can hold up to 6 fishermen. Large windows on two walls capture the picturesque scenery almost as if you are standing on the outside deck. 0 OUTPOST Large lakes with winding rivers attaching them makes for a healthy fishery of walleye, smallmouth bass, and northern pike. Catching dinner off the dock at Right Lake will take you just minutes! You are able to hike into Babe Lake for more walleye, smallmouth bass and northern fishing that is incomparable. As with many of our other outposts, this timber frame cabin offers floor to ceiling views of the outdoors. Sharpstone Lake is a part of the famous Berens River. The cold, oxygenated water produces an excellent northern pike and walleye fishery. The fishing on Sharpstone is simply spectacular. You’ll have no neighbors at Bee Lake, only the woodland caribou and moose that our guests often spot while here. The large variety of fish at Bee Lake consists of walleye, smallmouth bass, and northern pike. Bee Lake is part of a long chain of waterways that include Raehill and Eden Lakes. Eden Lake is connected by a narrow channel and has an outstanding lake trout and bass fishery. Trapline Lake camp consists of a very modern pine cabin with a large, airy dining room and living room. The cabin will sleep 12 people in 4 bedrooms. The large deck on the lake side is the perfect place to enjoy the evening air and sunsets. OUTPOST Trapline Lake is a great walleye and northern pike lake. Easily accessed lakes with short portage trails also surround it. In Wilson Lake, which is just a 20-yard portage from Trapline Lake, you’ll have the opportunity to catch lake trout, walleye, and northern pike. Our Location HOW TO FIND US: From International Falls, MN follow Highway 11 West to Highway 71. Follow Highway 71 North to Highway 17. Turn left on highway 17 West and follow to Highway 596. Turn right on to Highway 596. Follow Highway 596 North to Minaki. Turn left on to Highway 525. River Air (N49° 58.624’ W94° 42.985’) is the first driveway on the right hand side (100 yards). This is where your flight into your outpost will depart from.
