What it means is having plenty of money; rich, wealthy. Example: I like to see the mansions in the affluent part of town. Learning to spell helps your child be a better reader and writer and here are a few suggestions: • • Help your child plan a different study routine for each weekday. Example: quiz him/her while at the playground. Toss magnetic letters in a cookie tin so he/she can spell words on the way to sport practice. Create homemade spelling supplies. Collect colorful bingo chips or bottle caps. Your child can write the letters of the alphabet on them wit\h a permanent marker then arrange them to spell words. Enjoy the moment and take time to work with your child. Your commitment and support in the development of your child’s education will help him/her fulfill their life long goals. Painter School extends a special thank you to the American Legion for their generosity in donating to several of our families during Thanksgiving.
