GENERAL RULES:
 TICKS: The Wandoan Showground is a Tick FREE Area – Please refer to the D.P.I. Regulations
 NO stock will be permitted to leave the grounds before 4.30pm SATURDAY, 22 APRIL, 2017 without permission of the Chief
Steward.
 All Cattle to be NLIS Tagged and have appropriate travel permit.
 Exhibitor to supply the Chief Steward with a photocopy of their travel permit
 Heifers are not to be obviously pregnant
 NO nose ring or identifying ear tags.
 Exhibitor, or a representative of, to help in the yards during judging
 Trophy presentation will occur as the classes are judged

CONDITIONS:

Entry Fee $5.50 (inc. GST) per Class. To be paid upon arrival or when numbers of entries for each exhibitor are known.
Entries close on Wednesday, 19 April, 2017
ALL CATTLE must be on the grounds on FRIDAY, 21 APRIL, 2017 at 9.00 am for weighing.
JUDGING will commence at 8.30am SATURDAY, 22 APRIL, 2017 in Prime Cattle Ring.
On arrival at the grounds, the owner or representative must pen their cattle and be present at the mouthing and weighing
Stewards are empowered to reject any exhibits, which in their opinion are not worthy of exhibition.
Prime cattle enter and compete at owner's risk.
In the event of the judge deciding that the exhibits in any Class are not worthy of a prize, no prize shall be awarded.
All entries shall be weighed on arrival at the showgrounds and such weights and Classifications made available to judge and
the public.
Cattle will be mouthed according to number of permanent teeth, which are visible.
Stewards shall place entries in their respective Classes after weighing, making necessary changes if not in accordance with
entry form.
All cattle must be the bona-fide property of the exhibitor on the day of entry.
Cattle can be entered in one Class only and compete in one Class only.
No horned cattle will be accepted for nomination.

JUDGING will commence at 2.00pm FRIDAY, 21 APRIL, 2017 in Prime Cattle Ring.
Any heifers registered or recorded with any Breed Society are ineligible to compete.
Desirable age to be 14 to 22 months old.
Horned heifers must be well tipped.
Heifers will be judged for COMMERCIAL and REPRODUCTIVE qualities with the emphasis on FERTILITY.
On arrival at the showgrounds the owner or representative must pen their cattle.
Stewards are empowered to reject any exhibits, which in their opinion are not worthy of Exhibition.
In the event of the judge deciding that the exhibits are not worthy of a prize, No Prize Will Be Awarded.
Heifers enter and compete at the owner's risk.
