third year of college.

Experience
I am an accomplished Graphic Designer with six years working experience. I have a BA in
Graphic Design from the Design School of Southern Africa.
My experience extends from publications, corporate identity design, brand communication,
point of sale displays and photography.
Work History
In 2007, during my final year of college, I produced freelance DTP, CI and stationary
design work for a few start-up businesses as well as creating layouts and doing
corrections for McNab’s Vitamins. I became very involved in freelance photography
for musicians. I also worked in the design section at Studio C, a prominent
manufacturing Jeweller as an in-house Graphic Designer as well as creating 3D
jewellery design.
From July of 2008 until the end of September 2009 I worked for Yellow Star Productions
as their Junior Graphic Designer and Photographer. I was responsible for CI developments,
website look and feels, brochure/catalogue design, stationary and print set up. During
this time I also became involved in creating charity design work for an organisation
called the Centre for Transformation and Development or CTD who are involved in skills
development and community projects.
From October 2009 until the end of October 2010 I was employed at Syzygy Media,
a company specialising in Custom Publishing and Graphic Design. I have worked on
magazines for clients such as Rand Merchant Bank, City Lodge and
ABB South Africa.
As of November 2010 I was employed at DreamState, a branding
consultancy. At DreamState I was responsible for the development
of corporate identities, brand communication, point of sale displays,
publications and photography for their stable of brands.
In November 2012 I began doing freelance and contract work. I completed a six week
contract position for an agency called Brandbar. At Brandbar I was responsible for a
large packaging project as well as general design work where it was needed. I have also
been completing my own private freelance work involving CI developments, stationary,
adverts and small publications.
