Visiting Classroom Teacher:
We are pleased that you have decided to bring your class to the Howard B. Owens
Science Center for the Challenger Learning Center mission Lunar Quest. Please
use the additional materials posted on this website to prepare for your trip.
Of greatest importance is the Crew Manifest. Please share
the document Lunar Quest Job Posting with your students
so they can apply for one of the mission teams. Of course,
the final crew assignments are up to you. Having a crew
manifest ready upon your arrival will save time and give
your students more time in the exciting mission. Please
bring two (2) copies of your crew manifest.
The document Lunar Quest Teaching Guide has several pre-visit activities and
background information for you and your students. It is not expected that you will
cover it all prior to your visit. However, please consider selecting one activity for
preparation.
