Printing Instructions for Measuring Tape
Let make this easy, and finally get you the correct pants
for your body. Here is a list of a few things you will need
to gather.




A printer
Scissors
Clear tape
A crisp new dollar bill
Assemble Instructions
1. Print the tape measure below ( see instructions below)
2. To ensure the measuring tape is accurate you will find where you can compare
where the dollar is noted. A dollar (any demonization) is 6.125 inches in length
(give or take 1/16). If you are off by .125 or 1/8 inch or more, just double check
printing preferences (see below). If you continue to have problems contact us at
[email protected] and we will ship you a free measuring tape immediately.
3. Cut out all 8 pieces of the tape measure.
4. A ruler can also be used to check for accuracy.
5. Connect each strip in order as indicated using tape – tape both sides ensuring
the overlap is behind the measurement side.
Adobe Acrobat Printing Instructions
The goal here is to print this tape measure true to size. Depending on your version of
Acrobat Reader, “Fit to page” or “Shrink oversized pages to the paper size” should NOT
be checked. If you have:
Acrobat Reader 6, 7, or 8 “none” in the drop down next to “Page Scaling” option.
Acrobat Reader 5, make sure that the “Fit To Page” option is NOT selected.
Acrobat Reader 4, make sure to UNCHECK the following dialogue boxes:
 Shrink oversized pages to the paper size
 Expand small pages to the paper size
 Auto-rotate and center
How to measure
1. Make note of your measurements, rounding to the nearest full inch.
2. Pull tape measure snug but not tight
