SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
SATURDAY, FEB 1, 9AM-5PM.
Masterclasses and Reed Making for All
9:00-9:30 Registration
9:30 Recital by Guest Artists, Nancy Ambrose
King and Jeff Lyman from the Univ. of MI.
Masterclasses & Reed making
10:00-11:30 Masterclass
11:30-12:30 Reed Making Class
11:30-12:30 If interested, students may want to
practice test for their All-State audition for Feb
9th or for future All-State auditions. During
reed making class students will have a specific
time to play their All-State Mock Auditions
and then return to reed making class. Scales
and excerpts posted outside of door similar to
the All-State experience.
Oboe Judges, former All-State Oboists Andreas
Oeste and Jordan Pennington Bassoon Judges,
former All-State Bassoonists Kristin Caserta and
Sean Stokes. Both teams have experience in
possible excerpts taken for All-State try-outs.
Lunch
12:30- 1:15 (pizza and sodas provided) and
visit Saied Music Co. to try new instruments.
Oboe Class:
1:30-2:00 George Anderson Presentation
on Oboe Care and Saied Music Co. on their
oboes they have for sale.
2:00-3:00 Masterclass
3:00-4:00 Reed Making
Bassoon Class:
1:30-2:30 Bassoon Masterclass
2:30-3:00 George Anderson Presentation
on Bassoon Care and Saied Music Co. on
their bassoons they have for sale.
3:00-5:00 Reed Making
3:00-4:00 Continue with scheduled AllState Mock Auditions.
5:00pm End of Clinic
