Department of Psychology
Columbus State University’s
Department of Psychology presents
the science of the mind and behavior
to students. Students develop effective
communication and critical thinking
skills while learning how to conduct
research, analyze data and
present results.
Students can earn a Bachelor
of Science degree, including a
premedical option or minor in
psychology, through the department.
From cognitive, social and personality
to behavior analysis, biological
and developmental psychology, the
department prepares students for
rewarding careers and
graduate programs.
To extend student experiences and
opportunities, the department also
offers study-abroad courses, the
Psychology Club and a local chapter
of Psi Chi, the International Honor
Society in Psychology.
