WHAT
Artscape 2016 is a five-day arts camp operated by the Allied
Arts Council on the campus of Missouri Western State
University with the support of MWSU’s Western Institute’s
Community Arts. It offers children the opportunity to
express their creativity in the areas of visual arts, theatre,
dance and music. This is Artscape’s 29th year!

WHY
Emergency contact if we can’t reach you:
Artscape is a hands-on experience under the instruction of
professional artists and teachers in 14 disciplines. Students
who participate in the arts often find that they can apply
those experiences to other subjects in school. Studies have
shown that students who participate in a broad range of arts
experiences tend to have better test scores and grades.
Information packets and schedules will be mailed the last
week of July.
