Champion Arthur “AJ” Jackson for
bringing home the Gold! AJ has earned
himself a spot on the USA National Cadet
Team!
Congratulations also go out to Katie
Jackson who took Silver at Nationals and
has earned herself a spot on the USA
Junior National “B” Team!
Studio Etiquette
Helpful Hints
Be on time for class!
When your instructor gives you instructions, bow
and say “Yes, sir” or “Yes, Ma’am”.
Do not interrupt adult conversations!
Go to the bathroom before class starts!
Bow on and off of the mats.
Bow to the office.
Bow out of the studio.
Junior belts always bow to senior belts.
Wear only black or white shirts under uniforms.
Keep your fingernails and toenails trimmed.
Girls, please remove jewelry, especially earrings
before sparring!
For sparring class, be here 15 minutes early to
get your gear on.
When lining us for sparring class hold your head
gear under your left arm.

Kenneth Doan did us proud, winning Gold
in team poomse and Silver in pairs
poomse. Kenneth did not medal in
individual poomse or sparring, but he
worked hard and did his best!
Both Kasey Doan and James Blanchard
came home with bronze medals in
sparring! Good job boys!
The rest of the team, Jacob Grace, Alexa
Lowe, Khoi Nghiem, Annie Kaur, Purneet
Pabla and Jacob Gonzaga did not medal
this time, but gained valuable experience
that will help them next year.
