Centred on Area 4 Fault in Sarsfield pit
With the deepest mineralisation
Zoning of key metals up & out
Mushroom shape from to central feeder
and dispersion in re-activated structures
Zoning reflects declining temperature
Consistent with alteration zones
best ore shallow central
Ore by fluid decompression
At structure intersection

Ravenswood Mine Mineralisation Styles
•2 main styles of mineralisation in the Ravenswood
area:
• Chlorite-pyrite-silica-pyrrhotite fault
• veins/breccias (e.g. Buck Reef & Area 4).
• Chlorite-pyrrhotite breccia in BRW vs
• chlorite-pyrite-biotite veins in Sarsfield
• High grade quartz-sulphide fault vein
• and tension vein arrays (stockworks)
• typical of Sarsfield and Nolans

Ravenswood District:
Ravenswood overall paragenesis
Host rock age 429Ma (JC Tonalite)
cut by 411Ma aplite dike in NE dipping shear
Cut by basaltic andesite dikes
Alteration age 310Ma+/- 5Ma (biotite & sericite)
Shear and tension vein arrays syn-to late shear
Fed by steep shears so overall mushroom shape ore zones
Au As Te Bi BM enrichment signature  IRGS mesozonal
system in mafic host rocks
Distinct metal zoning points at central feeder(s)
Evolved magmatic fluid phase separation at ore stage ~300°C
