Cassini - 20 Years in the Making
On October 15th 1997 the Cassini-Huygens
probe was launched, it’s the first of the four
Saturn probes to spend time orbiting the Gas
Giant. On September 15th Cassini will
complete it’s final descent through Saturn’s
atmosphere.
Over the last 20 years Cassini has given us
unparalleled insight into Jupiter, as it flew by,
and Saturn’s diverse planetary system with it’s
62 moons and stunning rings.
NASA’s scientists have discovered evidence of
water on Enceladus, lakes on Titan and new
moons.

In the search for a reliable, safe source of
renewable energy have scientists found the
answer in Nuclear Fission?
The theory of Nuclear Fission has been
known for over 60 years but the practical
challenges mean that scientists are only
now getting close to being able to unleash
