The Montour Elementary PTA is excited to announce its first Annual Purse Bash to be
held on Saturday, November 7 at the Kennedy Township Fire Hall. Since this is our first
year organizing this event we are hoping to attract 300 attendees and raise money to support
educational programs, the arts and social activities for the students. We’re thrilled to have the
opportunity to share this wonderful event with everyone and besides who doesn’t love a great bag!
So, let’s all band together to make this event a tradition for the Montour Elementary PTA starting
in 2015 and beyond……!
This is truly going to be a fun-filled, evening you won’t want to miss! For those of you who
have never attended a purse bash you are in for a real treat. The event will take place from
6:00pm– 10:00pm and doors will open at 5:00pm for those wanting to participant in an early bird
drawing at 5:45 or to give everyone opportunity to mingle and peruse all the exciting auction items
up for grabs. We will have awesome themed Chinese Auction “baskets”, pick of the table raffles, a
50/50 raffle and many other opportunities to win cash prizes! Soft drinks and hot appetizers will be
served, buffet style, during the duration of the event and you will be allowed to bring in your own
alcohol.
The Purse Bash is going to be one of the PTA’s main fundraisers and biggest event! The
money raised at this one event supports the majority of the educational programs, arts and social
activities provided by the PTA, such as Brainstormers, the Chess Club, the Spelling Bee, Battle of
the Books, Santa Shop, Olympic Day, Carnival Day and many other programs that benefit EVERY
student at Montour Elementary! We are hoping to repeat the achievements of past fundraisers but,
as always, we need your help and support!

back by October 9, 2015.
