Rental Policies:
NOTE: All charges are for time out, whether used or not, so
please make your selections carefully.
RESERVATIONS: Reservations are encouraged for your
party or wedding needs. Please reserve with us well in advance,
especially during the summer and fall months, so that you won’t
be disappointed.
RATES: Most prices quoted are for one day rental. Most
items may be rented Friday to Monday. If you would like to keep
rental items for a longer period of time, please contact our store
for long-term rates. Full payment for all rental items, deposits,
and services are due in advance on or before delivery or pick-up
by the customer. Quantity discounts on tables and chairs.
DEPOSITS: Deposits are required to hold certain rental items.
This amount is non-refundable if the item is cancelled or the date
is changed.
ORDER CHANGES: All rental orders must be finalized at
least 10 days prior to delivery or pick-up by the customer.
DELIVERY: Delivery is available for a nominal fee in the
greater Portland area. The minimum delivery charge is $55. For
rates to other areas, please contact the store. Additional
charges will be made for areas not easily accessible for our
delivery vehicles, delivery to floors other than ground floor,
excessive time, knock-down or set-up. All china, glassware and
flatware are delivered clean and “table ready”. All deliveries
must be paid in advance or upon delivery, unless it Is a billing
account.
PICK UP: For sanitary reasons, all glassware, dishes, and
flatware should be rinsed free of food and repacked in the same
boxes or containers as delivered. A charge will be made for all
boxes or crates not returned. All breakage, burn holes, loss, and
cleaning charges are in addition to rental charges. If you
discover a chip or a broken item upon delivery, please notify us
at once so that you will not be charged for that item. Tables and
chairs should be folded and stacked for pick-up. Sunday,
holiday, or after-hour pick-ups are available for an additional
charge; arrangements must be made prior to the delivery. The
customer is responsible for the equipment from the time of
delivery to the time of return.
