The Trans-Siberian railway from Moscow to Vladivostok is today the longest direct and throughout the year remaining in the
operating railway line worldwide. There is 9259 km trip by two continuous lines of the Trans-Siberian railway through Siberia, past
the forests and mountain landscapes of the Urals and numerous large cities, of which Novosibirsk with about 1.4 million inhabitants
is the largest metropolis and capital of Siberia is called.
Continue along the Lake Baikal, you can look out of your window about 100 km long. Then, the route through the Russian
Republic of Buryatia, including its capital Ulan Ude. As they drove toward Vladivostok can be photographed from the Fixed thanks
to the numerous bends and hilly landscapes of the train.
During the train ride you can admire the 2612 m long and thus the longest bridge over the river Amur Transsib. You come the
immeasurable distance of the East closer and have time for new acquaintances, for's photography and reading. On the platforms
of the intermediate stations in Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk and other cities you can go shopping and try
freshly prepared regional products during the 15-minute stays.
Itinerary
Moscow
1. Day: Arrival to Moscow, transfer to accommodation,
overnight.
For those interested, there is still the afternoon for a visit to
one of the numerous museums, the subject of which is
connected to the port role of the city and the seaside location.
14. Day: Transfer to the airport, flight home.
2. Day: Sightseeing: you would visit Kremlin, the famous
Red Square and its neighborhood as well as the historical
Arbat Street, where lived among others the Russian poet
Alexander Pushkin and which became famous from songs
of Bulat Okudzhava. In the evening you will admire
“underground palaces” of Moscow Metro. Overnight in
Moscow.
3. Day: Departure by train to Irkutsk early in the afternoon
4-6. Day: Travel on the Trans-Siberian Railway
Irkutsk, Listwianka, Lake Bailal, Ulan Ude
7. Day: Arrival in the morning. City tour and drive to the
Lake Baikal to Listvyanka (65 km). Visit the open air
museum of wooden architecture Taltsy Siberian and Baikal
museum.
Termines, notes
The trip is booked individually and possible even in winter. You
can start every odd day (Day 1 = odd day). To recommend that
the trip between late May and mid-September. The ice on Lake
Baikal holds mostly long (it can happen that the lake is still
frozen in May), so that the water in June is still cold and
relatively mild temperature reached until the end of July. We
recommend booking 6 months in advance, no later than 9
weeks prior to departure.

8. Day: Stay in Listwianka: You can take a climb up the
Tscherski Stone Company, a vantage point 300 meters
above the lake with a beautiful panoramic view of the Lake
Baikal. In the evening return to Irkutsk, overnight
9. Day: Early departure by train to Vladivostok
Each carriage in train has 1-2 toilets with free water available 24
hours a day. Attention, on most trains showers are not
available.

12. Day: Arrival around noon, recreation. Today take the
first look at the strategically important Russian port city in
the Far East on the Pacific Ocean
13. Day: Sightseeing. Vladivostok belonged until 1991 to the
closed citties of Russia for foreigners, for which a special
permit was required. Today Vladivostok is a very beautiful
location on the "Golden Horn" Bay and surrounded by hill
town..
